Black Jersey?

But who the f#*k lists Scarlett and Cream as a huge tradition at Nebraska? The first ten things on my list when I think of tradition are (in no particular order):

1. Blackshirts

2. Tunnel Walk

3. The Sellouts

4. Walk-Ons

5. The Retired Jerseys

6. The Heisman Trio

7. Bowl Games

8. The Back-to-Backs (70', 71') and (94', 95')

9. The Decade of Dominance

10. Academic All-Americans

I don't see how a black jersey takes any of that away from us. It is what it is, a jersey.

Hmmm didn't see many Husker fans saying the same thing when we wore our blac.kout jerseys in the Holiday Bowl. For you it's tradition but for us it's "ghetto"... hmmmm

But TBH, those black UW jerseys are awful. Like seriously they should be burned and never spoken of again.

I think its fair to say that this one is for sure photoshopped. You can see the blur around the edges and a little black is bleeding into the 3 on Martinez's jersey. If we were to go black though, I'd be all for these. They keep the classic style look, just with black instead. They're not trying to be pro-combats or anything crazy, just plain old Nebraska jerseys that happen to be black

You'd think with all the people on this board, and all the attempts made to simulate black uniforms, someone would have figured out how to take out that extra red in between the shoulder stripes. Who are we, UCLA?

Wouldnt it be stupid to half a$$ it if we did get new uniforms? I mean you do it to draw recruits, and attention, and there is nothing attention grabbing about those black uniforms, or helmet. I hope they do not do it, but if they do then you might as well go all out....

Black with Scarlet and Cream, I can handle. It's not like we're going Oregon and putting Ears of Corn on the shoulders or something or having a totally off color like Maze Yellow for the Uniforms. At most, the dress in black is to totally offset Wisconsin's color scheme.
