Rule # 1, you wear red.

Not sure there are any other rules. A black out is a dumb idea, in my opinion. I think, IF ANYTHING, have a red out, and stop people at the gates that aren't wearing a red shirt and :nutz

I must agree. It is ok for other teams to wear off colored shirts, but you know what they say...There Is No Place Like Nebraska...so wear red and only red!

Exactly. It's always been red, it will always be red.

I can understand that many of you don't like the idea. Why not bring a black towel to support the 'D'? I think the towel should be at every game. What are your thoughts?

Penn St does the whiteout but thats because thats there team colors are white ! Last time I checked NEBRASKA has not wore black in a game yet in there long great history. Yes I understand that Black stands for Blackshirts but we will not get people to wear black and it will just look horrible! Wear RED end of story !

Another useless post about a situation that will never happen nor should happen. What is so hard about Go Big Red? Sea of Red? History? Tradition?

I would never wear black to a Nebraska game, for any reason or request. My grandfather would turn over in his grave. We are one of the few programs that still cling to history and tradition. If we didn't our sell out record would have ended long ago. Let's not be like the rest. I love the Blackshirts, but they are no more important to me than any other part of the team. I doubt the fact that we dressed in Black would make much difference to them. They will do their job, just as they have always done.

I don't understand why people would wear white, especially this late in the season. White makes me so mad when I see the game on tv. If you're not honoring the blackshirts, wear RED!
