I hate black outs. I mean, I love the thought, and it would be AWESOME if everyone did it. Could you just imagine nothing but black in the stands - it would look so cool! But it only looks good if everyone does it.

However, a lot of the people absolutely refuse to wear black. It is the "I've been wearing red to Husker games for XX years, and I'll be damned if I'm going to change now. Hell black isn't even one of our colors" idea. And, for the most part I have to respect that as well.

So from now on, I think we should limit black outs to the student section, because all of them will do it. Can you imagine - an entire stadiume of red, with one section of black - cool!

PS - I just wanted to bump this as well, just to piss everyone off.

Me and some friends are getting our whole student section to wear black to this weeks game against Westside. B******! But yeah, the B****** thing was only for UT. I will be wearing red to the Mizzou game. GBR

If the student section can wear red and frighten people while the team is rattling off NC's and Conference titles, then it damn well can suit the 8-4 teams and thier suspect defense as well too.
