Blackshirt Black Out Bad Idea

This may sound lame...

but what if UNL passed out black "power towels" to whirl around when the defense is on the field. I think it would have a much better effect than having everyone wear black. Yet, still be able to support our defense in a different fashion.

Yea, why not?

NFL Teams hand out towels and that seems quite popular with the fans!

I am reminded of the "Terrible Towels" from Pittsburgh and those really cool "G-Force" Towels (or mini flags, whatever they are) At Green Bay games.

The Huskers could do something to that effect, Maybe A Scarlet Towel one game, A Cream one the next, and some year, A Black "Blackshirts" Towel!

thats why it doesn't work.... because its the student section... which is a small portion of the stadium.... students for the most part are on campus, and pretty secluded to the rest of the city...
