Blackshirt Linebackers

Rose was playing great at the end of last year. I'd be surprised if Banderas ends up with the job. If he does, it means he's playing at a very high level, so it's really a no-lose situation.

He was the state champion in the 110 Hurdles in one of the fastest winning times over the last several years. You seem to be hung up on saying he's slow but this simply isn't accurate.

If I wasn't swamped at work and taking summer classes, I'd go back through the season and find the clips and put them together. I get my wisdom teeth out this weekend and will be nice and high with nothing to do - maybe I will this weekend.

Maybe keep in mind that Banderas was a true freshman. He wasn't going to be perfect. I would attribute his "slowness" to maybe him trying to catch up to the game speed. Not his athletic abilities.

I agree on Rose. I think it ends up with Rose at MIKE, Bando at BUCK and Anderson at WILL.

 
Banderas got a lot of reps at MIKE again today.

Trevor Roach got a lot of first-team reps at BUCK.

 
Probably to be expected: Banderas and Anderson got most of the #1 reps when the Blackshirts are in Nickel.

 
Sounds like Rose and Santos got more of the #1 reps tonight at MIKE and BUCK, respectively.

I thought it would be more even every day but it sounds more like some guys are with the #1s more one day then switch the next day.

I was just going to look for the thread about him to say that. No word differently but it's starting to be concerning. You'd think they could at least say when he'll be back by now.

 
Sounds like J-Roc is on his way back to Lincoln. I'm looking forward to seeing this guy on the field, if not at LB this year than definitely special team punt/kick-off coverage. #Boomstick #Wood
