Looking at guys who played sparingly last year who could make a big impact this year. Here are the LJS suggestions:

I think Rose-Ivey and CJax are near locks if they are fully healthy. And Alexander will lock down the safety spot opposite Gerry.

I think Young could see early playing time. Freak athlete at at thin Linebacker position. And I really like Kieron Williams though he's got lots of competition.

He isn't transferring. He's one of the best athletes on the entire team and as good of an athlete as you can have at MLB. He's playing, and he's starting.

People who know the program and watch practice will tell you Jones is better than Mosley, especially in the quarters system Banker will run. Kalu is possible but he needs to be more physical.

it's nice Santos and Bando have experience, but in the B1G they are simply average in talent and ability.....neither one could start for Ohio state or MSU.......we need talent!

I want Mike to play the Mike. Period - has the stronger body and insticts, also more of a leader. Not to mention has the freshman tackle record while playing MLB

This is the plan. It will be Santos, bando, and rose. Bando has the most upside. The other 2 are physically limited but could be solid. Rose has good instincts. I could see the fresh young pushing Santos for his spot. He could eventually be our Mike but prob not this season
