How bad an impression was the loss? In the Kansas City Star (print edition - couldn't find it on line) he predicted that Nebraska wasn't going to go to any bowl. None. Nada.

Yes I realize it was a mistake but come on man!

 
We deserve a bowl but not against a top 25 team.

I would really like to see us play South Dakota State in a bowl.

That way we could watch a well fought come from behind win and finish the season on top!

He probably had the list already made - replaced Nebraska with Wisconsin in the Rose moved every body up and forgot about NU

I did check it 3 times, couldn't believe it
