Blake to CU?

Heard on ESPN radio earlier that CU is looking at John Blake for the head-coaching job. Anyone heard anything? That would not be good for NU.

 
Wouldn't put to much stock into this. The CU coaching search is getting out of control. There have been 10 names already thrown out. From Bo Pelini, Steve Marruchi (sp?), Norm Chow to John Blake and Butch Davis.

 
Chow wont leave the titans... You guys remember how hard NU had to search for their coach just 2 years ago? CU will have soooo much harder of a time. Recruiting restrictions, Bad rep, Terrible fans, no money, no tradition. These names are all people they WANT, will they get any of them? Probably not, maybe a Bo Pelini but none of those pro coaches.

Someone said on the ESPN message boards that Blake isn't on CU's radar and that the rumours are coming out of some Pac-10 schools. How ironic

:yeah ..........you are sooooooo right! but mainly, they can't offer enough money to get someone to get past all the other negatives.......

Absolutely not. I'm sure if someone did report that, they were just trying to stir the pot. John Blake is staying here for the forseeable future.

 
Cu for allot of reasons cant be an attractive job. I look for a alumn or another candidate without HC experience. A no name if you will.

:yeah Couldn't agree anymore. JB will not leave Nu anytime soon. :)

 
No way Blake leaves anytime in the near future. Hey CU, I hear Rick Nueheisel is looking for a job.
