Blow Your Mind...or not.

The plan is for him to do well enough not to get fired but not good enough for Herman to keep his job. The next coach will bring in Langsdorf. It's an intricate plan yet deviously simple.

It would follow the pattern. This is what you get or messing with us, Texas.

To be fair to anyone in this world, they need an opportunity to prove themselves.  In other words, until someone give them a chance they will always be unproven.  Don't forget TO was just an OC for Devaney, with no HC experience.  So I have always thought that either you have it or you don't.

I often wonder who was available back then that we could have hired instead of TO?  TO inherited a team that had won two NCs in the three years before he became HC.  TO didn't even win his first outright conference championship until year nine.  Let that sink in for a minute.

It seems we all like to play the who could we have got back in 97/98.  Why don't we ever play who could we have got back in 72/73?  How many NCs might we have built up by now with a different hire?
