Blue & Castille Testaments to Texas Football

Just because you have to pass to play doens't mean your getting your education..

it must be really hard to pull off a D- in Pre-Algebra as a senior <_<
"D" isn't passing in Texas. Everything below a "C" is considered failing.
well EXCUSE ME, C- pre-algebra is a very good education.
Roger that. Texas does not have a "D" grade, anything below a 70 is an "F"
Not really intrested in getting involved in this arguement, but isnt anything less than a 70 failing everywhere? Most schools require at least a 78 in every class to play. 100-93 A......92-86 B.......85-78 C.......77-70 D.......69-below F? Right?

Do you really think we don't recruit Texas hard? I think most D1 schools hit Texas hard. The fact is though that the state of Texas has some pretty good colleges down there that do play football. Then you have border rival OU. The state of Texas is a recruiting hotbed. NU more than likely does hit Texas hard, but some kids want weather and some want to stay close to home. We should just be thankful for the ones we do get out of Texas.

States like Texas, Florida, California, etc. are recruting hotbeds. I would venture a guess that NU does concentrate on the mentioned states. You win some and you lose some. We can't get every great talent out there in those states as long as Texas, USC, Florida, OU, etc. have as strong of programs as they do now. When we start pulling in lots of kids from Montana, South Dakota, Wyoming, etc.; then you need to worry!

You are right Junior. NU hit's Texas pretty hard. As a matter of fact in the last two years there have been renewed focus on Texas.

Also, Busch is still cleaning up in Arizona which is good to see.
