Bo knows whodunnit

Bo's behavior on that tape was inexcusable. Deflecting the blame on the "leaker" as if it was their fault, nah just not buying that. SMH at all the rants about what a lilly livered no good low down rotten scum bag the leaker was, as if they forced Bo to spew all that putrid language at gun point or something!
You serious?

Bo was wrong, and everyone agrees with this. Bo has to own this, and if it eventually leads to his ouster I won't agree with it but I won't protest it. Most folks feel the same - although like most folks, I don't think Bo is in jeopardy for this tape.

But Bo being wrong doesn't absolve the idiot who leaked this. Situations can have multiple wrong sides, and this is one of them. Nobody is putting the blame that Bo deserves on the leaker. Not sure where you're coming up with that.

Even if he does know, it would be in everyone's best interests to keep it under wraps.

I said from the beginning that the person who leaked it is a slimeball. Let them live with what they have done.

We have had so-called "fans" make threats before. I don't want to see someone physically hurt over this.

During Tuesday’ Big Ten teleconference, you said you heard something was out there?

Pelini said, “We’ll get more in detail later today, but yeah, there was something that was mentioned that I believed there was something out there that I didn’t know what it was, I didn’t know any specifics, I didn’t hear it, I didn’t even know what it was from. The subject came up, the reference to it came up a long time after the fact.”

Was it in a threating mode to you?

“I don’t know. It might have been. We’ll get into more specifics later on. It was put out there to, I think, Coach Osborne.”

Did Dr. Tom bring it to you?

“I’ll get into more specifics later on today.”

Is there a press conference?

“No, but I’m working through with…”

Can you give me a time?

“No, not yet.”

I know who recorded it. This conversation came right before they do the 1 on 1 post game interview with Greg Sharpe. The question is who leaked the tape, which could be one of many members of the Husker Sports Network, as well as anybody those workers might have sent the audio to.

Bo is a complete moron to be making comments like that just seconds before he is suppose to do a 1 on 1 radio interview, just a few feet away from the mic. He said in the post practice report yesterday that he learned "There could be a microphone hidden anywhere". Give me a break, YOU WERE WAITING TO START A RADIO INTERVIEW TWO FEET FROM WHERE YOU WHERE STANDING... OF COURSE THERE IS A DAMN MICROPHONE.

The other woman you hear in the tape is the Associate Athletic Director for Community Relations, and she should know better also. I won't name her but you can easily find out who. I'm tired of an idiotic administration making alumnus and fans look like fools.

"They can kiss my a$$ all the way out the f'ing door, because that day is f'ing coming now. We'll see what they do when I am f'ing gone"
yes he should of know and probably was aware the mic was there. But maybe wasn't told it was on and recording. I'm not a lawyer by any means but work in a call center. When things are being recorded the other person has to be made aware of it. If not then legal issues can be had with the person and or company that did the recording.

Now I'm not saying that's the case in any means as I was not in the room. But if Bo and the associate athletic director didn't know. then I wonder if this would or even could turn into a legal case.
In Nebraska only one party has to know that the conversation is being recorded. Generally people are told in case there are interstate calls or simply to be decent about it, but there is no legal obligation in NE to inform the other party that you are recording the conversation. That being said, he was in a studio with microphones-- that seems to negate any sort of assumption of privacy. .

There was a lawyer-ish guy that earlier pretty much stated this is the case.

I think Bo should worry about repairing his reputation and not worry about who released the tape. He should spend some time trying to endear himself to the fans. Personally, I hope we keep him around, if for no other reason than the good theater that will surround the rest of the season.

He doesn't have to worry about his reputation or endear himself to me.

You want a friend? Get a dog.

Bo just needs to worry about his team performance.

I dont agree. Hold the person accountable. It was an invasion of privacy. Nothing more, nothing less.

We're gonna hold Bo accountable. It damn well better go both ways if they find out who it is.

I didn't know that was the law here. I thought it was the same for all states all parties must be notified of it being recorded.

I'd rather he concentrate on winning. Fans weren't thinking about Jack Hoffman's run during the 2nd half of the UCLA game.

Every time UCLA ran the ball reminded me of Jack Hoffman's run.

It unlawful to ... deliberately intercept ... through the use of any “electronic, mechanical, or other device,” any ... oral communications, unless the interceptor has previously obtained a court order permitting the interception or is a party to the communication, or one of the parties to the communication has previously consented to the interception.

State v. Strohl, 255 Neb. 918, 923, 587 N.W.2d 675, 680 (1999)

Basically, don't say anything in this great state that you don't want anyone else to know because the person you say it to is a party to the communication and has the right to record it without your knowledge or permission.

I don't really care about the leak, its just a sideshow that is distracting from the real issue, an under performing coach. That is where I am coming from.

Even worse, to a degree it may be creating sympathy for Bo by some, when as I added to the original post he is his own worst enemy with his unprofessional behavior.

When you make millions per year, you might want to grow up a little especially if it means keeping your job or not!

I don't disagree with you, I'm just saying that we can walk and chew gum at the same time.

Bo's going to deal with this the rest of his time here. We're the fan base that vividly remembers the screw-job at Penn State in 1982. We're not going to forget hearing Bo say that stuff, ever.

But that doesn't mean that the person who released this tape, this way, with this obvious intent, will be given a pass. Fans will remember this forever. If this person's identity is disclosed ten years from now, long after Pelini is gone, they'll catch flak for it.
