Bo likes what he sees so far in 2nd day of full pads practice

Is anyone else a little concerned that the top 4 LB's are sophs? Not so much for this year or the next, but once they leave. I would really like to see some separation between the classes, so that there is not a huge loss of experience once these guys leave.
Might be part of the reason the base defense is moving to 2 LB's and a nickel back.
It also seems that the secondary is very senior heavy this year!
No it doesn't?
5 expected contributors are seniors, including 3-4 possible starters. Fail.

actually. I see 2 seniors starting in the defensive secondary. Prince and Ricky. that's half of the secondary.. are they supposed to have one from each class? Unless you count the hybrid LB or whatever it is now, then it's more then half, i guess.

Also, if Anthony West contributes next year I will eat the biggest crow platter ever created. Nearly every time he was in last year, he blew his coverage and gave up the big play, prime example being the end of the CU game.. he goes in for like 1 play and blows it. he also fell in the VT game.

Sure we lose a few seniors. But we do have some pretty decent DBs coming up through the ranks. All these guys are back next year.

Safety: P.J. Smith. Austin Cassidy. Courtney Osborne. Dijon Washington (RS). Cooper (true frosh).

CB: Dennard. Lance Thorell. Blue. Coming off redshirt: Andrew Green. Lazarri Middleton (safety?). Plus a couple of recruits.

Oh, I don't think anyone's worried about the guys coming up. We should all be very excited to see some of the young talent grow into their roles. Dennard will take over as a senior next year, and from the young guys we've got Lazarri Middleton, Andrew Green, Colonel Dijon Mustard Washington, etc. It's just that we'll be losing a lot of familiar DB mainstays to graduation this year. Prince, Gomes &Hagg, then Thenarse, and West too. Graduating 5 guys with a ton of experience. Compared to this year, when we lose 2 I think, and last year when we lost (none)? It's just a senior heavy DB class compared to recent years.
