Bo on 1620 the Zone

Offensive System - Bo will not comment on the system they're installing, and they don't talk about specifics with recruits. Or at least, Bo won't tell us what he's told them. Each recruit believes in what we're doing.

The questions differ from recruit to recruit. To Bo it's about developing a relationship between you and the young man. The young man and the coaches. They don't make promises. They understand that they're going to get what they earn. As long as you're honest with them every step of the way and you're not trying to trick them and you develop trust, you don't talk just about what they can do for you and you talk about what you can do for them, you get them for the right reasons.

Isn't Bo commenting on guys individually now?

And no, those elephant in the room questions aren't coming.

Specific instructions for the reporters not to go there.
I was thinking they'd probably been given such instructions.

Oh, nevermind, d!(k C. just went there. Bo flatly denied he'd hired anybody. And he shot d!(k down twice. Ouch.

Bo won't respond to Dirk's question. Bo states he has not hired any coaches.

Marvin Sanders - Bo will NOT answer that question. This is not the time or the place.

Bo has not notified any recruits of any staff changes.

Wow, awkward silence after d!(k C. tried three times, in different words, to coax Bo into admitting staff changes. Denied.

Bo also said plainly in regards to Heard, "Can't talk about him... He ain't on the list."

Bo feels good about the numbers and what they wanted to do going into the recruiting process. He feels good about the guys they got and the positions.

:laughpound I knew it would be Chatlain. What an asshat, knowing how Bo would respond. But major props for having the juevos for doing it

Mitch Sherman asking about coaching changes again:

Bo doesn't see it as a problem NOT to notify recruits of upcoming coaching changes. There will always be changes.

Ha, so it was Dirk, then.

Not surprised.

I don't think he tried to coax it out or anything. He just asked point blank. And when he didn't get what he wanted, he asked again, and again. It's like he is playing Bo, just letting Bo continue to embarrass himself.

Dirk has some big, brassy ones.
