Bo on Stringfellow....Ouch....

Adorable ole miss fans are saying that they got the great class because their coaches are great recruiters...not because their boosters have check books.

 
I sat and argued with 3-4 Ole Miss fans on Twitter.. they basically threw the Stringfellow thing in my face... They were not the most intelligent people i have ever talked to.. not Iowa Stupid but kind of Kansas delusional when they had success.

Freeze just said 'prove it' to Bo. Really though, this is not the first time Freeze's recruiting tactics have been suggested to be suspect.
I liked the line about how Bo and Freeze are colleagues. Hey Hugh, maybe, as a colleague, you can try not pouching players after they signed transfer papers to another school?

then he should have just called them cheaters and the mom a money-grubbing scoundrel, if he really is not afraid of anything. instead, he implored us to "read between the lines", whatever that means. he played it coy rather than just taking the high ground. no need to sugar coat it, which he kind of did, but no need to address it, they asked him just to get such a soundbite.

I would almost guarantee that if this was a high school senior he would have taken the high road. This is a guy who got in trouble, we were willing to take a chance on him, and he f'd us.

He isn't a high school senior. He chose his school, got in trouble, was looking for a way out, we were good enough to give him a second chance, and then he flipped on us like the sorority whore.

I would be pissed too, and I would have said the same thing putting the onus on the player. In this instance Bo wasn't in the wrong. It's a lot different than recruiting a high school senior.

I almost guarantee Chris Kiffin had as much to do with this as freeze

 
I can about guarantee that freeze didn't "Do" anything but I assure you he knows what is going on if not even telling people to do it.

Is Stringfellow one of those people? But other than that I think my favorite part of this is the implication the Nebraska teams of the glory days operated above board in all aspects.
