I am basing this opinion strictly off of a hunch, but I am expecting Stafford to make a big impact no later than halfway through this season. I don't think that Carter will be an impact player, even if he starts (I hope I'm wrong about that one, though).

Yeah, sorry. Mason Wald and John Levorson were the first two to come to mind, and I believe there were a couple of others.

Even those guys aren't perfect examples...Leverson got the boot for smokin' the ganja. Mason Wald was homesick...and I heard he was having some party issues too.

The tight end I believe Saunders is thinking of was Tyson Hetzer. He enrolled early but I don't think he ever made it onto the team. Never heard why though...

Yep he was on N street Liqour wall of shame, they pointed it one time I was in their. They caught him with a fake ID trying to buy some 40s.

it think bo has done a pretty good job on the JUCOs.

Gomes was a *very* good get and barring injury LaVonte David is only going to get better. it sucks that nebraska only has one more year of eligibility out of him.

Heh, I remember watching Wald's HS tape and I was sold American he would be our next Mike Brown. Shows you what I know.... :facepalm:

Wald's tape was freaking sweet. Although I think Brandon Rigoni comparisons were more common than Mike Brown.
