Bo Pelini Flew into Duncan!!

I've been living in the tree in Pelini's front yard ever since Pederson got fired. Haven't seen a plane ticket yet.

I don't understand what he's doing now, because he's been standing in the same spot for a good 6 hours...

not only was there a relish tray there.. i also heard someone from time warner was installing cable into the plane, which is why pelini had to sit in there and keep him company

 
TO said he would talk to nobody before the season was over. I believe him. I also believe that there are rules against messing with a coach from another university without their permission. Can you really see LSU allowing Nebraska to talk to one of their coaches during a season when they are at the top of the polls and have a good shot at winning the National Championship?

If news of it got out it would mess up the psyche of their football team, and they are not going to take a chance on it by letting him fly into Lincoln...give me a break.

Even if he could talk to Nebraska, if there were papers to sign, he certainly wouldn't fly to Nebraska and take a chance of getting caught. They would fly a lawyer and a notary to LA to meet with him in private at his residence.

Does everyone around here think these people are stupid or what?????

This has been posted by a mod b4...there are no rules permitting AD's from talking to perspective coaches about becoming a HC or an assistant at their school. That's a pro thing, not college. :) Also you are pretty naive if you think TO hasn't had some discussions about a possible replacement. He said he would be doing an on-going evaluation and make his decision to fire or retain Billy C at the end of the season. That doesn't mean he won't be prepared right away to have someone named to HC shortly after the firing announcement. :)

Ok I know at this point you all are thinking this isn't much to go off but the same guy was at the champions club on Saturday telling this story to a couple guys and one of the guys says the story was correct an when asked how he knew that his response was I should know cause I am Bob Duncan and I own Duncan Aviation.. Take it for what its worth nothing saying Bo was offered the job nor that he wants it but just that he was here.. I know everyone has rumors but this could be true...

I'm sorry but you source is wrong. My brother and a few other friends work at Duncan, and I can assure you that unfortunately this did not happen.

All I was trying do was tell the board what heard!! If you dont believe me then fine its no big deal.. I didnt make it up and I dont think my source did either, but there may be some truth to it.. Who knows just wanted to tell people what I heard an get some feed back from it... I could be wrong who knows..

To both of you. I love the fact that you posted in the correct forum and also like the fact you have input as well. In no way was I trying to ridicule or call you out. I'm sure you didn't make this up and I wasn't accusing you of this either. It all boils down to the fact that you had some info and I did as well, and we both put it to good use by posting it here.
