Bo Pelini's Contract ready to be signed!!!!!!!!

It will be interesting to see how his contract is structured. After the University got burned with Callahan & Company's contracts like they did, I bet they kind of put more incentives in and reduced the guarenteed part.

I don't have a worry about the amount though, I have a lot of faith in Bo being able to turn Husker football around again, with Dr. Tom in the background. I have a hard time seeing a scenario where we don't get better, and even become one of the premier teams in America again. Attitude is contagious...for the good or bad...and we seen the bad part this past season.

The biggest risk of losing Pelini would be to Ohio State. However, Tressel is only 54 years old. He's also delivered something to them that they haven't had for quite a while, a NC. He's 62-14 as Ohio State's HC, and he's 25-8 against ranked opponents. He isn't going anywhere for quite a while. While some think Bo could bolt for the NFL, I don't think it fits. I don't think Bob Stoops will ever coach in the NFL, and I don't think Bo will either. They just aren't that type of coach which is similar to TO.

 
Ok, I have to question these guy's accuracy... they list Joe Paterno's salary at $1.5 mil a year. Penn State released that information very publicly a few weeks ago and Paterno only gets about $500k.

Unless JoePa got a HUGE raise I haven't heard about, these guys have an accuracy issue.
