Bo - postgame....slip or reading too much?

HANC

All-Conference
Ok, I am not trying to start anything tonight.... I am going to celebrate the win and bring on Iowa...but, after all of the rumors circulating this week on the board and all over the media about Bo's "so-called" resignation (which I don't believe)....... I was listening to the post game presser.....

When referring to the young OL guys that played, Bo said, " It will benefit 'THEM' down the line"..... he typically says "us" when referring to his team.

It just struck me funny... I am sure it is nothing, but made me think.

I am not happy with the play calling, but hopefully Bo will be our HC next year. I hate the thought of starting over and the possibility of Ameer and/or Gregory leaving if Bo is gone.

Just wanted to know if anyone else heard the same thing and whether or not anyone thought the same thing.

Didn't hear it but sounds like reading into it too much. If he was talking about the entire team, maybe. But it sounds like he was talking about a specific group that he wasn't a part of, so "them" is correct.

I think you're reading too much into that particular nugget.

But I also wouldn't be overly surprised if Bo's final game at Nebraska is next weekend.

I sure hope I am reading way too much into it.....but I did sense a lot of emotion, which sounded like a guy who is proud, but may be on way out....sh!t

If he didn't use the word "execute" then it's definitely a slip. It's so obvious he's gone. Also, maybe he wasn't chewing gum? Another sign!!

He doesn't always say us.....how many times have you heard him say "I told those guys in the locker room......"?

This team makes a lot of boneheaded mistakes, but they are fun to watch. The board is full of complaints about special teams, then NU blocks a punt (sort of

) and returns a kick for a TD. If Bo can get the TO margin to even, and make some improvement on special teams, NU can compete for the BIG most years, and be ranked in the top 20 most years.
