bo ruud or steve octavien

Walk-on
Cosgrove has said for sometime that the best 11 will play. what if ruud, octavien, and bradley are the best three linebackers. whose more suited to play middle ruud or octavien and will playing middle diminish their capabilities. just wondering what people think, does cosgrove move octavien or ruud to middle if nobody jumps at the middle spot. i also heard octavien talk about newcomers that stand out to him and the only linebacker mentioned was covey. i originally thought he would prolly redshirt, is there a chance he will get some pt and at what position.

i think you move D. Moore to the outside put Octavien in the middle. With the talent we have coming in and with the people we already have Bo Ruud wont ever be a starter. Just what I think.

I've heard that baby Ruud is a stud. So, I would think that he'll be on the field somehow. Octavien is bigger, I believe, so he might be more suited to the middle.

I think Octavien needs to stay on the outside. I didn't see the spring game but he is supposed to be fast and we need speed at the outside spot. Bo could be a pretty good ILB. I just don't think he has the quickness for OLB. I'm pretty sure Bradley has the other OLB locked up so I doubt they would move him. All I know is Dillard or Brandenburgh better come to play.

Bo Ruud is very talented. He is faster than his brother (though slightly smaller), and has had some good game experience. He will definately be starting somewhere come sept. 3. FYI... most thought he was more talented than his brother coming out of high school.

Don't doubt Dilliard. Did any of you catch the article on him in the OWH? I dont see a reason to argue this, Dilliard will be a beast on the inside, and it will be his job. :box

Dillard seems to be the real deal. Our defense should be a lot better than it was last season.
