Yeah, I don't know, I guess I still see the main problem Bo had here with his defense was he was a bad head coach. Lots of recruiting misses. His assistants weren't trusted or allowed or capable of teaching at the level he requires, at least not consistently. His team didn't have enough numbers, and the players who came in were handled in a way that stifled a lot of their development.

I suppose part of that would not change in the NFL. But he would be getting much better and ready-made athletes. So I think he could do rather well.

Good coaches have bad results for various reasons at lots of places. It doesn't mean they aren't capable of doing much better in the right situation.
