The story would not have been all that newsworthy had it not been for two factors: The athlete is Robert Griffin III, and the texts were sent on Griffin's wedding day.

Yeah, if you're famous there would be something wrong if you weren't banging hot chicks.... Although, it's not fair to his wife (especially on their wedding day....ouch)....

Also, not fair to his wife is a bit of an understatement, presupposing it was actually true.

Yeah, you're probably right. I'm all for being loyal once married, which is why I don't understand him getting married in the first place. If you want to have many bitches, do it the right way....

Anyways...If i was in his position.....being a bad a$$ high-profile professional athlete, I prob. would never get married....not at least until I'm fify.

Are you presupposing that this is true, and you only don't understand given the assumption that he is in fact being unloyal to his wife, or do you just not understand him getting married period?

My uneducated guess is that he treasures a lot more about her than her physical attractiveness and views her with higher regard than a prized possession to celebrate.
