Boise State fans=no class

They can boast all they want about their accomplishments against jr high competion but they will get a rude awakening in the Fiesta Bowl no matter who they play whether it's OU or Nebraska. (GBR! :) )

The fans do tend to mirror the personality of the coach and Hawkins has shown his colors wherever he goes. Even my wife pointed out that sCUm has hired one "classless bad guy" after another.

I would've probably kept giving him 2nd chances too, but he sure gave TO a black eye for doing just that.

Thats great and Im glad that you are doing it, but I got the wrong idea when I saw that your name was Lawrence Phillips. All the NU haters always bring that name up, I just thought you were trying to be a smart a$$. My mistake.

No problem, like I said I am not going to start bashing on a team just because someone trolled their forum and caused them some grief so they respond back, if any of those smurfies show up here then it is a different story.

I think the difference with the teams listed here and Boise is the conference they belong to. ACC, SEC, Pac10. And if I am not mistaken, houston used to be in the Southwest Conference. So while I have no idea who they beat those years, they did play top level teams durring the regular season. Boise's big win was vs Oregon State.

Back in the day, I dated a BSU coed fools it was a girl :) 1973 ah it was a very good year. Don't rightly know if they had a football team or not. Not a priority at the time. :w00t

Every teams' fans have a right to be true to their school(beachboys) If you go to other fan's or some limp espn site and talk smack well my dad always told me if you can put it out there you have to take it too. On our site you use the WOODSHED. :)

In 1975, ASU and AZ were still in the WAC, and I believe their bigest win was over BYU..Or Boise State?

They were undefeated but given no chance to beat a "Real Power" like Nebraska...I remember My Brother had just Graduated UNL a year or two before and had moved to Mesa, AZ..And had season tickets to ASU.

Clemson was a similar story..In a what wasn't even a Basketball conference yet? (ACC)? given no chance by the talking heads to beat one of the "Big Boys" (UNL).

I think we match up with BSU a little better than OU but I also see History repeating itself if BSU is not taken seriously.

As soon as I saw the probability of us playing BSU out here in the Desert, I was concerned we'd be in another "No-Win" situation again..No credit for beating a program that was perceived to be "2nd tier" and the historical Habit of not takeing the Bowl opponent seriously and ending up being someone's stepping stone to acceptability/respectability-Jesse Jackson

C'mon..We're Nebraska fans..We're supposed to be smarter than everybody else.

Who do you consider a "Real Football Team"?

We're 1-2 against current BCS top25 teams.

OU has only 1 win against the same top 25 (Both of us beat #23 ATM by 1pt)

BSU is 2-0 against the top 25.

BSU>Oregon State>USC>NU

By (>) I mean won against during 2006 season
