I can't believe this team was picked to win the BIG somehow. I will say the MSU D is doing stopping the run pretty well.

They are lucky they don't have crazy John L. Smith as their coach or else this unglueing would be much more dramatic.

I am thoroughly unimpressed by MSU. Bell has been solid, a mild bright spot in an otherwise hard-to-watch affair, but hard to tell how he would fare against a real defense.

I don't mind it that Michigan St. is losing because I'm so sick of the media talk of how great Michigan State is going to be this year. Boise is ahead 13-10 and they just held Mich St. to 4 downs and have now taken the ball over on around the 35 yard line.
