VT gets ball first and runs the flea flicker on the first play on the game and try and offsides penalty. Next play they fumble the ball on bad center QB exchange. Boise state cant move ball but makes a 44 yard field goal to take a 3-0 lead.

Boise STate blocks the VT punt. 2 plays and they score a TD. Terrible start for VT. Boise leads 10-0 with over 9 min still left in first quarter. Wow.

Early on Boise's defense is looking legit and dominant. That's what 10 returners can do for ya. I for one always thought Boise would be good this year, but Va Tech is looking so lost and confused right now.

boise's pettis has already had a great ballgame. blocked the punt, caught the touchdown, and pickin apart the hokie secondary.
