Booker

I’ve watched this game twice in the last two weeks. It is unreal how dominant they really were. Another person I enjoyed watching was Farley....just a beast!

Yes!  He was my favorite DB in the mid 90s, big bodied and physical.  That late TD he gave up in the national title game was garbage, the Florida receiver was out of bounds when he controlled the ball.

Loved that year, so many good huskers from my area. Billy L, Uhlir, etc. And #10 qb who ends up a great recruiter.

and the MG’s?

Think Dubsker is talking about this Booker T

What folks tend to forget is that this Florida team had been undefeated and  flat-dominant up to this game.  We blew the doors off of a hell of a team.

More interesting, twice the team NU beat in a year (90's) this same team won the NC the next year.  '96 Florida, '98 Tennessee.  We beat the snot out of very good teams in the 90's.  Should've beaten '93 FSU (refs tomahawk chopped their way to their getaway bus post game), and that '99 team was pretty good itself (hate the horns).  When you step back and look at the 90's, unreal teams and players.

And top the poster above, I think Farley was an absolute stud.  Unreal playmaker.

Booker was good but I think Tyronne Williams was better!   That team was loaded as you also had Minter,Veland and Warfield.   Not sure if that's the same year or not?

Yes, although I recall Warfield was second string  that season.  All played in the league with Williams and Minter having longer careers.  Loaded as hell, all three levels of the D had NFL caliber players.

Agree with William's, we had a slew of "under the radar" talent on our D...thinking of Doug Colman as an example
