My thoughts on this.

That no. 1 vote was from probably from Steve Sarkisian. Just saying.

When we beat Texas on 10/16/10. We jump to no. 3 over all these other teams or we jump to no. 2. We run the table we will be no. 1 or no. 2 and in the MNC game. This is why it is important to start off in the top ten. Bo is the type of coach that makes his teams get better as the season goes on. Last year we were and OK team but by the end of the season we could've beat Alabama in the bowl game. This year Bo has an offense to go with a good defense. :koolaid2: :koolaid2: :koolaid2:

Ah you're right should've done my research  but either way it's nice to see Nebraska get a first place vote

I think Texas is too high at number 4. Oregon, TCU, and us have been more impressive thus far.

Dear Coach Sarkisian,

uh, we appreciate the first place vote. I guess.

It won't get Locker back into the Heisman race though.

Well, he was going throwing it to Alabama, but we intercepted it.

Who in there right mind would vote Texas above Stanford right now, much less 10 spots above? It just goes to show you the amount of mindless groupthink that takes place is these polls, with voters already locked into the "bubble" system as opposed to just ranking the teams from their actual on-the-field performances thus far. Wake Forest is not very good, but Stanford put up points like they were facing a DII school. This is after they absolutely merked a UCLA team (35-0) who went on to throttle Heisman candidate Case Keenum and then-ranked Houston. Texas, meanwhile, gets an ugly 10-point win against Tech, who as far as anyone knows is pretty much average.
