bowl game opponent

Obviously we don't yet know which bowl game we're going to, but regardless of the bowl game, what team would you love to see us play? I'm not talking about playing Ohio State, which would most likely be for the NC, but just the team. Maybe a team we haven't played in many years or the historical aspect of two storied programs meeting in a bowl game.

Notre Dame again would be fun

Alabama

Georgia (pretty much any SEC team)

Ohio State (just to see the Dotting of the I)

 
If we win the Big 12, we go to the Fiesta. If that's the case, I'd love to play:

Notre Dame

USC

If we come in second in the Big 12, we go to the Cotton Bowl against an SEC team. If that's the case, I'd want to play:

Auburn

Arkansas

LSU (It would be sweet to beat Pelini!)

 
The OWH said NU vs. LSU/Arkansas in the cotton bowl is very likely. I'd love to play LSU and see Pelini, the defensive genius, get made to look like a fool by the Huskers. You can guarantee Sam Keller could give some perspective on that match up.

 
If the Cotton Bowl then it would be an SEC opponent and LSU or Arkansas would be good.

If the Alamo Bowl it's a Big 10 opponent and Wisconsin would probably fall to there or it might be Iowa or Penn St

If the Holiday Bowl it's a Pac 10 opponent and Oregon might be likely

If the Independence Bowl it's an SEC opponenet again and Georgia or Alabama might be a good match up here.

 
I just hope we play someone with a big name. Even though Michigan was down a bit when we beat them in the Alamo Bowl last year, it still felt great to be able to say "We beat Michigan! Heck yeah!"

I'd like to play Florida. I think we can take them.

 
I want to see us sack Brady Quin play after play and make him look like a sissy. Show ESPN whats up with their bias...

 
I'd like to see us play Florida again..I've gotten to know a few of their fans on BBS (boards) and would like to see some of them in person.

I'd really like to see us play Ohio State while My wife and I are still getting along well..She Graduated from there and we're having a friendly rivaly at home, so far... :box

 
I would like to stick it to Notre Dame. I get tired of them squeeking by.... but, the media and polls love them and the not so mighty Quin. Although some of you would like to see an LSU matchup to stick it in Pelini's face, I believe he is a better Defensive Cord than Cosgrove.

 
I would love to see us vs ND, and if we made it to the BCS the bowl games would love that too with all the history of the teams. If we make it to the Cotton, LSU or Florida would be nice. If we make it to the Gator, I think that would be a ACC matchup, so G Tech probably. I don't see us in any other bowls though. We will be too good imo

 
Well, I'd like an SEC team for the simple fact that, geographically, it's an area of the country to which we have no "in" for recruiting - and there are a LOT of great athletes there.

For purely selfish reasons, I'd love to see the Huskers in the Cotton Bowl. There's a good chance I could get down there to see it...

 
If we get to the feista bowl, odds are we get Boise state, weather we want them or not.

Cotton Bowl is likely the loser of the SEC champ game, anyone of those would be a great game.

Holiday bowl would most likely be Cal or USC if cal beats them.
