Bowl Projections 2025/26

Probably be Vegas bowl vs Utah. Utah will literally be the first or second team out of the CFP. Not a match up that would favor Nebraska! Hoping for ASU, but Sims can run

That makes zero sense. A 10-2 top 15 team vs. a 7-5 team that just got blown out of November. Sure they love our fans money, but that is a terrible matchup. Utah is #2 in the country in rushing, so look out rush defense! At least they stink at rush defense also.

We've been so good after bye weeks, imagine the scheming we'd have after a month off! 2-2-7 unleashed!

I heard Vegas as top option and Detorit Bowl as a second option. Nashville as 3rd option vs Vandy or Tennessee. Florida options are dead. The Detroit bowl would be played agains either Ohio Bobcats or Toledo Rockets. Huskers are set to open up 2026 season vs the Bobcats, so this would mean back to back games vs the same opponent.

Detroit would be a tough sell. It's my second favorite city behind New Orleans but it's a cold weather city and there are a lot of ignorant people around here that think Detroit now looks like it did in 2003. Plus people wouldn't think it is a step up from the Pinstripe Bowl at all against a MAC team. Detroiters are incredibly friendly but I doubt many people would make the trip.

I’m probably going if it’s Vegas or Nashville. Not going if it’s Detroit. Beautiful area in the summer tho

Stressing the word probably. I’m really disgusted by the program right now.

Assuming USC and Washington go to Alamo/Holiday, you got seven Big Ten teams for seven bowl slots

Michigan to Orlando
Iowa to Tampa

then you have

Illinois (8-4, 5-4)
Minnesota (7-5, 5-4)
Nebraska (7-5, 4-5)
NW (6-6, 4-5)
Penn State (6-6, 3-6)

PSU makes sense for Pinstripe.

NW makes sense for Detroit.

Then you have, in order, Vegas, Nashville and Phoenix.

Illinois has the the best record.

Minny has a tiebreaker.

Nebraska has the fans.
