ESPN currently predicts Nebraska to either play against LSU in the Cotton Bowl, or against Stanford in the Holiday Bowl...

 
LSU would be an interesting matchup for more than the obvious reason, Pelini's return. other than that you have to great D's facing off against two anemic O's, which could make for an ugly, low-scoring contest.

and i agree, we want nothing to do with stanford right now.

I said we'd be playing LSU in the Cotton Bowl before the season started. That was also before we lost Quentin Castille. And Iowa State.

But if we win out and have a nice showing in the Big 12 Championship, that prediction COULD come true, although the Holiday Bowl seems more realistic at this point.

 
Scott Frost reunion.....but I agree.... Stanford is on top of it's game right now. I have also seen the Alamo bowl mentioned, and if we would happen to drop the CU game on the road and loose to Tex, I could see Alamo (we would be 8-5) or even the Sun Bowl.

 
I hope NU faces LSU and embarrasses them. I am still bitter about Les Miles doing a fake punt when up by 3+ scores in the 4th against us last year. If only he could face this years version of GT...

I would love to play LSU, I live in Louisiana and all I hear about is the SEC. They really have no class and they are the worst fans, you will see if we play them. Were 5-0-1 all time against them and I used to work at a casino and my boss was a xLSU player Clint James. He used to tell me how Neb lined and just whipped their A$$

 
Think it may be LSU, just so they get viewers to watch Pelini playing his old team. They know also that Nebraska and LSU both have fans that would travel well to Dallas to the Cotton Bowl.

I know Frost works at Oregon.......I was referring to Frost attending Stanford and Nebraska....I prob. didn't phrase it or explain it well.

 
For those people saying that they don't want anyting to do with Standford???? Are you kidding me. I'm sure these are the same people that said we would lose to Oklahoma by 21 points? I could only dream about playing Standford. As for LSU, that could be interesting but it really doesn't matter....Beat KSU, CU and Texas....and let's throw a Fiesta!
