Brett Favre Retiring

Guy just loves the game and has the time of his life playing it.

Hard not to root for a guy like that honestly.
I agree. I'm not a Vikings fan but Favre is the man and I'll always be rooting for him and it doesn't matter what team he's on.

The only way the Vikings make it to the playoffs is if Brett returns. Randy Couture reminds me of Brett Favre, both are old timers playing a sport that they love so much that they don't have the desire to stop playing because they love the sport to damn much....except for Randy has only been retired 1 time compared to Favres 2-3 times.
The Vikings were already a playoff team before Favre joined the team. Favre just makes them Super Bowl bound.

I can't believe a guy who was one game away from playing in a Super Bowl would hang up the cleats with the team he has coming back. If your body can't do it that's one thing, but this year's false alarm couldn't be about willpower.
Yeah i laugh at people who say that Brett lost the game for them when in reality it was Adrian Peterson fumbling the ball everywhere. If Peterson could've hanged onto the ball it would have never came down to Brett.

I don't think Farvre lost that game, but it was a stupid, stupid. STUPID throw. He runs for the first down and he's in the Super Bowl. He throws across his body for a pick, he's not. That's got to be some kind of motivation to get your ancient a$$ back on the gridiron.

Yeah he got too close to the Super Bowl not to give it another shot. I think if the Vikings hadn't advanced to the NFC Champiionship he might strongly consider retiring for good.

Ya it really wasn't Favres fault for losing the game. Adrian played like crap and plus the 12 players breaking the huddle or on the field on Minnesotas last drive put them out of field goal range. If they would've had 11 players on the field and then have AP run the ball to kill the clock and shorten the field goal range, the Vikings would've won the game. But with that penalty that kicked them out of field goal range and Favre had to pass the ball.
