So how does that work with recruits? I can see your point but wouldn't it also concern some kids that the coach who is recruiting you is going to flee to the NFL and his assistants that are also recruiting them will be replaced? Do they tell the recruits "See I'm good enough for the NFL but don't worry I'm not really going to take an NFL job" ? Given all the false statements coaches make concerning switching jobs I would think a kid would have to be really dumb to believe that line.
