Can we even afford him or be willing to pay what Pearl would cost? Doc makes $800,000 this year and Pearl makes $2,300,000 so Pearl makes almost 3 times as much.

I wouldnt mind hiring somebody that "bends" the rules alittle. Especially since the NCAA isnt cracking down on basketball violations. What would be the big deal a loss of the scholarship, we dont even get enough recruits to use all the available scholarships anyway.
As long as it translates into the NCAAs, Conference Championships, Program revelance, Im on board with it.

Even though I am a bit frustrated with NU b-ball, I'm good with Doc staying. He had us damn close to breaking through this year. Just a few bad breaks, boneheaded plays, and missed free-throws away from being 4th in the B12.
