Lawrence is like 200 miles. Miami's closest conference opponent (Florida State) is 480 miles.

The article didn't say they would be driving to play Florida State. It said they would drive to play Central Florida and South Florida, drives of between 3 and 4 hours. I was just pointing out it wasn't a dramatic change and doesn't mean the kid will be riding the bus to every game.

I apologize for missing that. I assumed that they would be driving to more games than just those two. If that is the case, you have a valid point.

 
I would have to say that I am glad we aren't in the middle of this, but Miami pulling out of the deal makes it more likely that we will have to play against this kid some day as missouri and kstate or in his top 5 or 6. Now I am not saying he is the next Adrian Peterson or anything, but I don't want to go against him any more than I would want him on our team. Miami seems like the perfect fit for this guy, so i won't put much stock in anything until his LOI is signed.

if he drags this on any longer more schools are really gonna back away..can't blame rand shannon for wanting to pull the scholie offer...i'd do the same thing...it's still a team sport the last time i check....the kid's a freakin' side show....keep it up and he'll ruin his chance of getting a scholie to a school he wants to because by the time this circus ends nobody would want him....

I feel stupid, I read the tag on the main board again and realized that I misunderstood the title. When I clicked the thread the first time, I had to step away from my computer. When I returned and read the title and checked out the story. I read the title as Bryce Brown, (is) glad he's not coming to NU. I just noticed its Bryce Brown. ( I am ) glad he's not coming to NU.

When I was 17-18 I could make stupid a$$ decisions all by myself. Still can.
