Bud Wilkinson Conference?

hack

All-Conference
in ivan maisel's case, he makes up an imaginary college football conference.

He calls it the 'Bud Wilkinson Conference'. i would prefer the 'Tom Osborne Conference' but that's just me.

Who would be members? Here's his list...

Arkansas

Kansas

LSU

Mississippi

Missouri

Nebraska

Oklahoma

Oklahoma State

Texas

Texas A&M

notice anything? rivalries, baby! red hot burning hatred a-plenty!

i mean look at it. texas get cracks at tA&M, arkansas and oklahoma. missouri and kansas continue their slap fight. oklahoma and okie light keep their series. and best of all, nebraska and oklahoma renew their blood-feud on an annual basis.

only disadvantage i see to this hypothetical set-up is nebraska becomes the most remote school in the conference. recruiting for nebraska wouldn't get any easier, but thems the breaks.

discuss.

Of the conferences that ESPN put together, I think this is the toughest one. (I might be a little biased.)

Honestly, we would be in the bottom half of this conference. If this were the conference for the 2009 season, this is where I'd rank em...

1.) Oklahoma

2.) Texas

3.) LSU

4.) Oklahoma State

5.) Mississippi

6.) Nebraska

7.) Arkansas

8.) Kansas

9.) Missouri

10.) Texas A&M

Would you agree?

Ouch the travel costs. Though season ticket prices would probably be tripled. - and yes we'd still sell out every game.
