Buffalo Play-by-Play

Brewington was very physical on the block on a crashing OLB. Brewington flipped his hips to the outside making it a log block. Outstanding block.  So the correct read by the RB would be run the ball outside. Glad we scored anyway- Ervin ran through a one arm tackle. Had he run to the outside no one would have been within 2 yards of him.

Brewington shows great potential here- on that same concept in this game by other WRs- the very same block is whiffed on. Its a timing thing- several were over run- WR moving too fast.

Pretty sure that's not what happened.  Every time we've run that scheme, the TE is blocking out.  He's never been asked to log block.  The OLB just crashed hard and knocked Brewington down.  But he got enough of him to let Ervin get through the hole.

Nice pickup by the announcing crew Deontre Thomas at FB.  The DE does a really nice job of squeezing the Right Guards G block. Thomas got a nice piece of the DE along with the LB he was supposed to be isolated on. THats an outstanding play and headsy play by Thomas.

Here's some of that play-actions that people say we don't run and are bad at.
Are you serious? Flash fake- RB stays in to block- not really intended on fooling much of anyone- but guys who think this is a great example of play action LOL  All linemen with high hats- retreating high from the snap- obvious pass read.

For not intending to fool anyone it sure pulled up the safety who got beat. What constitutes play action in your book? Really all you need it to do is fake the handoff, not a lot of benefit in trying to sell it after that.
