Buffalo vs Akron

I friggin love Turner as HC, but won't he have to win the MAC title in order to gaurantee a bowl? If they lose the Championship game, do you think they will still go. Winning the title will be tough.

I think it will depend on how many spots the Big 12, SEC, and Pac 10 leave open. I think each of those conferences will not have enough eligible teams to fill the lower bowls.

It looks like the MAC has 3 spots, and the top 3 teams in the west are better than Buffalo. But Buffalo should get the next one, especially as division winner. Bowling Green next week is a must win game, otherwise they've probably fallen out of the MAC championship game. They might have to beat Akron as well, to go 8-5 if they lose the MAC CG.

 
Wow, that was a helluva game! My wife was getting pissed, cuz we were supposed to watch a movie before bed, then it went into overtime and she was getting antsy, then i was like "honey, bad news..." after each following overtime!

 
Buffalo beat Bowling Green in OT tonight! I think they played at 5:30, and it wasn't on TV that I saw anywhere. Very strange. Anyway, they overcame a 21-0 deficit and then a 20 point deficit in the 4th quarter. The Buffalo Gills are in the MAC championship game!
