Buffalo: What Did We Learn?

Honestly, we could have been so bad that both this game and Chevyham or whatever it was could have been stuggles.. as it was only the first quarter or so and we got on track against two lower tier programs:  Mejor que nada.  We could well be 0-3 this season if we were as bad as some of us opine.  As it is, we'll likely get at least one more win and maybe even a surprise win at some point.

Keep in mind that two of our top three are out with injuries.
Any idea when Vokolek, Martin, Manning, Falck get back or whats wrong with them.  It's said when a whole position group is out.....TE has taken a beating. WR not much better.

I learned AM can pitch while running the option and can pitch the ball forward with accuracy. (Wish they would block for the guy)

Can someone check on Culp's family.  Pretty sure the mob is holding his little sister hostage or something

It was implied maybe next week for Vokolek

Hickman did a nice job. Still a thin position

On the game today I learned that we've got a lot of the same old problems.  On the season I've learned that we can win two pillow fights in a row.

It was promising to see the defense play lights out against a capable offense.

Toure is the real deal.

I'm all for commiting to the run, but my god get someone other than Martinez going already.

2-1 in games we shoulda won. Frost’s destiny is still squarely in his hands. I rip on the guy my fair share, but if he finds a way to win 7+ he deserves a major hat tip. Keep grinding Frost.
Honestly if he wins 6 games, then that is progress of note

Looking at the schedule, these are L's at this time

OU

MSU

MICH

OSU

Wisky

IOWA

that leaves NW, Minnesota and Purdue as toss ups..if he grabs all 3 of those and 1 outta the 6 above...ok, we are evening out a bit

MAYBE we started to see something click with Ervin there in the 2nd half. We'll see.

Yep. Take your shot next week, and then find a way to try and enter the conversation in the West.
