Long forecast will be likely snow. And hurricane winds. If forecast is correct, our Huskers advantage or Dirty Birds advantage ?

It will make it easier for my visiting family to find their own darn tickets down there instead of begging for mine... Must say, crappy nasty weather will favor the Hawks to make it a closer game

 
If you believe a weather forecast 1 week away, can I interest you in some nice Nebraska ocean front property?

 
Accuweather says high of 37, 16 mph wind (gusts to 29), no rain or snow. Weather.com a bit colder and not quite as windy, 50% of snow up to an inch. Not sure what the OP is looking at. 7 day out forecasts are pretty worthless especially when trying to look at a 3-4 hour window.

 
NU. Our D line against their run. Maybe force Langs to really lean on the run. Jano and Cross to pound them and then Oz and Newby for a change of pace.

I usually used wunderground.com. I noticed improved weather in Iowa game. Now light snow (<1 in.) and only in the morning. Winds, 18mph .... used to be 27 and gusty last night forecast. However, freezing point all game long. You're right Red Five ........

My dad was more accurate than meteorologists+tricked out computers+satellites+doppler radars

If windy, then yes, tougher to pass and kick. Advantage Iowa. Snow is a different story. Snow tends to favor offenses, since the defense slows down a step. Advantage Huskers IMO. I think the type of blocking is important too, although I can't remember why.

Cold can cause more fumbles, whether on the ground or through the air. It has to be very cold for that to be a factor, though.

 
These offenses are pretty even.

If Iowa commits to the safer running game with their very average ball carriers, it plays to our defense's only strength.

I'm sure Tommy is convinced he could throw the ball against a hurricane. That's our offense's weakness.

Something tells me special teams will make all the difference in the world.
