Hardest worker, most deserving of respect on this team. Don't know what else to say about the dude. He is a great example of a true Husker.

 
Pretty sure every girl on campus wants to jump him. So I don't know what you're getting at with the hair. None of the women seem to care about it. Try self esteem and confidence?

 
Compared to the speed we're seeing, he's a bit more of a fullback than the other tailbacks. He's dependable and consistent, though he doesn't seem to have that gamebreaking flash/speed that we're seeing from Martinez, Abdullah, Turner.

 
Who gives a flip about the hair. Burkhead has the goods on the field. He had several great short yardage runs. He's tough to tackle. Just keeps the feet churning and gets the yards we need.

 
In the 4th qtr when he got several carries in a row the entire stadium gave him a stading ovation after a hard fought, leg churning, muscle bashing 4 yard run. Only in Nebraska

 
I think he added too much muscle this off-season and lost a step. He looks like a FB. He's a great power in-between-tackles runner but we've got some serious playmakers at the RB position and I'd like to see them get the ball more.

Don't get me wrong, I still love him and he's great inside the 10-yd line/tough short yardage, but our other RB's need to get the ball more in space.
