does the admin really need to approve a trophy game?  if both coaches agreed on it then I don't see why it wouldn't happen.  If the bussin boys show up with a trophy and hand it to the winner its a trophy game.

I think it's cool that an alum from both uni's came up with the idea off the cuff while interviewing the coaches. Harbaugh jumped at it immediately and signed a paper of interest. Doubt it has any legal bearing but it was cool to see/watch.

And they tried to bury it/pretend it didn't exist for a couple of years, to the extent that it had to be rebuilt.

But it still exists. And even raises money for chairity every year.

Feel like every big10 school would gladly institute a trophy game with us seeing how we haven't beaten a single on of our "rivals" in what, 7 years now?
