Rhule non-committal about McCullough being back for Penn State.

Sounded more optimistic about Dawson Merritt.
 
Lighter practices agenda for the next couple of days. They'll start Penn State prep on Thursday.
 
Rhules said playing an SEC team in a Florida bowl game would be a good reward for the players and help in recruiting Florida.

Interesting to hear him say we're actually starting with 2 days of Iowa gameplanning this week because of the short week to follow. I'm sure that happens all the time in these situations, but if we lose to Penn State somebody is going to accuse the coaches of looking ahead. Hoping some guys flash this week and make surprise appearances over the last couple of games.

The media team needs to get the hype train going stat! We need to roll everything out in the next 3 weeks like we did for Ameer's senior season.

For as good as he's been and how much we depend on him Emmett is barely a whisper nationally. You have to dig to find his name in Reddit threads outside of our game thread.

Agree. But, if he finishes strong and we win at least two more and comes back next year, he should be in the discussion going into the year.

It would be in his absolute best interest not to come back. He's been lucky not to have rack up many miles until this season, and to be injury free. I'm not sold on him being a really good NFL back, but if he's going to do it he should start as early as possible to save his body and get those 10 years in before it breaks down.

If he does come back I'll respect the absolute hell out of him.
