Perhaps they should have spent *more* on their stadium. Tuition at Cal Berkeley is only $12,834--one of the biggest bargains in higher education. They could double that and easily get as many students as they want. :lol:
This author is quite the jerk. Yeah, the stadium has a bunch of renovated bathrooms and concourses, but lets not forget that the stadium lies on a MASSIVE fault line. It has been said before that if an earthquake were to happen during a football game, like, 40,000 people would die (rough estimate of Cal football attendance). Much of the renovation dealt with bringing the stadium up to seismic standards i.e. earthquake-proofing the stadium. Naturally, this guy, and I'm sure countless others, just see the bottom line without regard for the rhyme and reason.
