Call Missouri Team and Fans By Their Proper Name

Wild Bill

Five-Star Recruit
It's the "Mizzousiers," ladies and gentlemen!

"Mizzou" is such a dumb name, so let's spice it up a bit. Here in Missouri (I live in Zip Code 63040 in case you want to map it), they call hillbillies, "Hoosiers," for some odd reason. (Most of us thought Hoosiers were from Indiana, right?) And Missouri is one of the biggest hillbilly states in these 50 United States, correct?

So whenever you are talking to anybody who has one inkling of an affinity for the University of Missouri, be sure to call the team and their fans by the new proper name, "The Mizzousiers!"

I never understood the z's. Is that supposed to give them some sort of edginess only found in the Show Me state?

The edgy part is that "The freakin' world is flat, the world is flat". :laughpound and that concept is why they don't travel well. They stay near the focal point of gravity at the base of the arch.

Hey they got one thing going for them though..............St. Louis is the most dangerous city in America!!! Great job losers keep it up!!! :thumbs

Made me think of the scene in National Lampoon's Vacation where they get lost in St. Louis.

Also I call Missouri, Missoura. (Isn't that how they say it there?)

OK, Dave pronounce "Missouri." Can you feel the "z" sound, Dave? It's nothing too deep in a linguistic sense.
