Callahan says NU can't fade away at the end

Think about this, last year we were a come from behind team.
That was very much the case last year. Seemed like we struggled in the 1st half, made adjustments at halftime and came out dominating in the 2nd half. This year it's completely oppostie.

I agree, we don't need to embarass anyone but we have to CONTROL the game.
Who says we shouldn't embarrass anyone? We haven't done that to a Big 12 opponent in quite a while. I think our time is due :restore :restore

First think of the '90s..what did we do when we were up big on an opponent? Ran the ball. and we would still keep scoring. I know that that is what we did all game every game but why can't we get the lead in the first half and then run like we did then..who's to say that isn't what BC is trying to do? hell it worked for TO why not BC

Oh I don't know, probably a couple million reasons. Cheifly, Callahan isn't TO. That was then, this is now. Kansas isn't Kansas anymore, neither are teams like Iowa State. His offense is quite different, defenses they play against are equally as different. The "Tom Osborne" Rule, etc, etc.
