Callhan to Washington Redskins?

Anyone heard anything about Callahan being a candidate for the Redskins head job if Gibbs retires?

I don't think there is a chance in he!! that this would happen. Any coach who has 1 or 2 bad seasons as a head coach in the NFL, and his head is on the chopping block. I think he is content right where he is and doesn't want to have to deal with that. He is doing a great job bringing us back to the top.

I dont think he would want to go back to the NFL. Last time he was there he got fired after a rash of injuries trashed the season. Even though he made it to the super bowl the year before.

No, I dont see that happening. He knows that the head coaching job at Nebraska is better than a lot of HC jobs in the NFL. :thumbs

I think after about 10 years, Callahan is going to go back to the NFL. I think he enjoys the NFL more and he is using NU as a team to show that he can coach.
