Can I bring a backpack into the stadium?

We are staying at the Holiday Inn on N. 26th and will be taking their shuttle in. We were thinking about bringing a backpack for any merchandise we buy today. Can I get into the stadium with one?

Yes but when you go to the stadium you will have to stand in the line that searches all bags. I wouldn't bring a large one. I took nephews to two games this year and we had no problems.

This. Like all bags or purses, it will be searched before you bring it in.

 
If you bring a backpack, try to bring one with fewer pockets. It makes it easier for them to look through.
