Can We all Give BC A Chance?

I'm willing to give callahan next year to do what he needs to do in Lincoln which is....take us to the top and get those W's!!! If you think that callahan has "his players" playing for him right now in this offense, well IMO your wrong...next year is the year I can see drastic changes from what we have seen so far. Lucky, lately, has shown flashes of what he can do with the ball in his hands, and next year I think he is going to explode.  Our D has to become a consistent D, forget the blackshirts, I want consistency!  If that doesn't happen by next season then I don't know what to say about it...
:WTH

Dude, Cally has a SIX YEAR contract. We can't give him a year, two years, three years. That is up to NU management. NOT US.... :bang

He'll need years to get the right folks in here and get back on track.

Try saying things like, I'll support him for one more year, or I'll back him with my money for one more year. Firing him is not your choice.

Four more years!

Four more years!

:bounce :bounce :bounce
I am referring to how long it will be till when the WHOLE husker fan base is outraged and completely against callahan...my guess is if the next season goes like this then we'll all be outraged, and he will have no support from us...but like I said i'm giving him next year to prove himself to me, which I believe next year is when he really has "his players" in lincoln...

We will still be a pretty young team next year. I mean, look at the Oline that is slated to start this weekend. Just something to keep in mind.

His players will be sophs and Rfr. except for the JUCO transfers. How many teams have as a base soph and redshirt players? Successful teams that is.

Just give these guys Time !!!!

NExt year will tell a lot !!!, if no progress is seen next year, I will help lead the charge to get rid of BC and Pud...(Pud could go now, though).

Many that are not calling for BC, are still calling for some changes to be made.. some of the rumors include Norvell and Cosgrove...

Why would you replace coordinators when you are trying to learn a system.. It make NO SENSE to me why anyone would want to see Cosgrove leave at teh end of the year... Holy sh#t, why not have 5-6 D-Cord. in 5-6 years..... How can these guys get comfortable ???

If someone has to be the "fall-guy", it should probably be a lesser know postion coach... but please not Gilmore !!!! Word on the street is that he is a stud....

Sorry. I just read your post again, I STILL don't see where you said he had to prove himself to you. All I see is:

I'm willing to give callahan next year to do what he needs to do in Lincoln which is....take us to the top and get those W's!!!
I guess I mis-understood you. ;)

No real comment here. I am just having horrible flashbacks of the last presidential election when I read "four more years, four more years." Sorry......

If he's a stud he ought to be able to do some drills to help wr's catch footballs. Perhaps the tennis ball drill that texas tech does.

And if i told you i know for a fact that the coaches use the tennis ball drill from a first hand eyewitness, what would u say to that?

Could be but you've said alot of things that don't come true or arent true so what the hay. If they use it they don't use it enough. just a tip.

I wasn't aware i was in the psychic business and giving out preminitions :WTH

And FYI, they just started using the technique this year after Bill Callahan learned of it from another coach who is in the business and coached with Leach. What are the odds Solich would have incorporated such a technique or even asked about it to begin with? He toured several succesful college and NFL teams and he is still running the SAME damn offense at Ohio :rollin

:yeah Thats no lie :thumbs

So it took the "great, mastermind, offensive genius" billy c this long to figure it out :WTH I dont remember FSs offenses having this much difficulty catching the ball...hmmm

Funny that you mention that, but Franks offense at Ohio is ranked 90th in the nation right now, and the great Nebraska, billy c WCO is ranked 108th :thumbs FYI
