How bout these stats.

Ameer Abdulah currently sits at 826 yards, With 3 games to go he has a great shot at a 1000 season as a sophmore.

Taylor Martinez now has 666 yards rushing. Defending him must be hell.

with 4-5 games left, Ameer has a legitimate chance at a 1500 yard season. Sorry, but we're just not going to see much of Burkhead from here on out. Even if he gets healthy, he's just not going to have the effectiveness. He would probably be no more than a glorified wrinkle. Very sad. He deserves more. But it's probably the harsh truth. Abdulla is our new workhorse. A 125 ypg/average over the next 4 puts him over 1300. And he's probably going to gash Iowa and Minnesota for well over that.
