I think it is because, statistically, AC didn't have a 2006 like everyone suspected he might. I forget what game it was, but it was the middle of the season and I was curious as to why myself and watched him almost exclusively for two quarters.

I never saw a defensive lineman get hit by so many people.

That stuff doesn't happen all that much in the NFL. The occasional guy gets keyed on, but when you have an NFL team that is filled with 11 former All-American players, you cannot go around double-teaming anyone who is good. You surely can't throw the whole woodshed at one guy like I saw happen to AC quite a bit this season.

And, even if you do, that means he is doing his job anyway because somebody else on the interior is free to go wild.
