Los Angeles Daily News: Pete Carroll has turned in resignation at USC

Got that above quote from ESPN via text message

Everybody had that feeling that he was heading to Seahawks but now here is the real confirmation.

Yeah I caught the headline on Rivals. The Carroll era has officially ended at USC.

The guy and the school itself are recruiting juggernauts..

It will be interesting to see who they get and how he does especially with NCAA sanctions possible..

I think Pete got out just in time before the USC program came crashing down to the ground with NCAA violations. I heard on ESPN that who ever USC hires, could take over a program that will have sanctions placed against them. If we have learned anything in the past about the NCAA and USC it is this.....USC is the media sports darling of Hollywood and they will get nothing more than a slap on the wrist (Reggie Bush incident).
